We at B2B Solutions are a proud supporter of Many Faces of Moebius Syndrome (MFOMS).   Many Faces is an organization that brings awareness and a face to those with Moebius Syndrome.

Moebius Syndrome, named after neurologist Dr. Paul Mobius, is a rare congenital neurological disorder which is primarily characterized by facial paralysis, including the inability to move their eyes from side to side, or form even the most basic facial expressions, something many people take for granted.

January 24, 2019 of each year is Moebius Syndrome Awareness Day,  a day to celebrate those with Moebius, and to bring general awareness to the condition.   On this day, B2B team members will be wearing purple, and will be adding some purple to our Website and Social Media pages to support MSAD.

B2B’s president Derek White has a nephew with Moebius and has spent the last few years researching the condition, and working to bring awareness of Moebius.  The team at B2B provides Tim Smith, the founder of MOFMS and the MFOMS team with various services including hosting, web development, and consulting services at no cost to them.

Additionally, on January 19, 2019, a team from B2B, along with the team from MOFMS, will be participating in the 5K and 1-mile fun run/walk in San Angelo, Texas to raise awareness and funding for the Kara Smiles Fund.

Kara Smiles Fund helps offset the medical expenses for those in need of corrective surgeries related to Moebius Syndrome, and other conditions as cleft lip and Bell’s palsy. Kara James, of San Angelo, TX, was born with Moebius and Poland Syndrome, and at the age of 13 was fortunate to undergo a life changing “Smile Surgery”.

A “Smile Surgery” is a surgery designed to create a symmetrical smile for those with Moebius Syndrome. Since this surgery is elective, it is not eligible for insurance coverage, and can cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Many Faces of Moebius is a proud supporter of Kara Smiles Fund and helps bring awareness and support to individuals around the world, regardless of age, gender, orientation, ethnicity, religion or status. Several members of Many Faces from around the country will be in San Angelo to support Kara and others in this run/walk.
